Four wallpapers (1028x800 px) of Robin and Marian from "The Return of the King", "A Clue: No" and "A Thing or Two about Loyalty" (the latter being a widescreen remake of an earlier wallpaper). These were made for widescreen, but I have included non-widescreen (1024 x 768 px) versions as well.
The lyrics on the first one come from the song "For No One" by the Beatles.

I have been a big fan of Loreena McKennitt's song "The Highwayman" for years (words from the poem by Alfred Noyes). However, the parallels between "The Highwayman" and Robin Hood had never occurred to me - until I found this music video.

Robin's activities are very highwayman-ish (except with noble purposes), he has a chandestine relationship with a woman who is used by those in power to attempt to capture her love...


I was really impressed by it!
